Donate Airline Miles Today!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our airline partners and their members, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® nationally was able to grant thousands of travel wishes last year. Frequent fliers donated hundreds of millions of miles to fulfill travel wishes. We estimate that more than one billion frequent flier miles will be needed to grant each child's travel wish this year. By donating your miles you can help make wishes come true.

Tax Deductibility
The IRS recognizes frequent traveler points as a gift or an award from the corporation to the individual; therefore, miles donated to charity are not considered tax-deductible.

Airline	Guildelines:
America West Airlines - Miles of Hope	5,000-mile increments
American Airlines	250-mile minimum
British Airways - Executive Club USA	1,000-mile minimum
Continental Airlines - OnePass	No minimum donation, must include account number and pin number to make donation.
Delta Airlines - SkyWish	5,000-mile minimum
Northwest Airlines - AirCares	5,000-mile minimum
Southwest Airlines - Give Your Heart Wings	Donate unused Awards Ticket directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
United Airlines - Mileage Plus Charity Miles	1,000 mile minimum
US Airways - Dividend Miles Charity Program	5,000-mile minimum/1,000-mile increments
Other Airlines	Currently, the Make-A-Wish Foundation does not have formal partnerships with airlines not listed above; however, Make-A-Wish chapters can use transferable vouchers or tickets on a case-by-case basis. Please call the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah at (801)-262-9474 or (800)-860-9474.
Gift Acknowledgment	The Make-A-Wish Foundation currently receives donor information for acknowledgment from the Northwest Airlines and US Airways. For other contributions, please check your program statement to verify that your request for contribution has been processed.
