One Gesture – Many Rewards

Thanks for Sharing gives Macy’s shoppers the opportunity to do their holiday shopping and help make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions at the same time. Beginning September 19th, shoppers may enroll in the Thanks for Sharing program for $25, enabling them to receive a reward card valued at 10 percent of all their Macy's credit card net purchases made through December 31, 2007.  The rewards will come in the form of a gift card sent to participants in March 2008.  For each Thanks for Sharing program member enrolled, Macy's donates $10 to charity.  The first $129,000 generated through Macy’s North enrollments will be donated to the American Heart Association. All additional enrollments will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.

As of November 1, 2007, Macy's has already reached 80% of their Thanks for Sharing goal, with more than 58,000 customers signed up for the program. After setting aside the alloument for the American Heart Association, Macy's North has already raised $450,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation! There is still time to help the organization, so get to Macy's and enroll in the program!
